Il permet de d\u00e9tecter de mani\u00e8re pr\u00e9cise des probl\u00e8mes qui ne peuvent \u00eatre identifi\u00e9s dans un examen ordinaire, notamment certaines pathologies aux racines des dents, caries, dents du siso non encore n\u00e9es, abc\u00e8s et tumeurs.
