It is an examination that is performed with the photographic plate outside the mouth and with the X-ray apparatus located at a great distance from the patient\u2019s skull. It is indicated for the diagnosis of cavities, bone changes, abscesses, signs of periodontal disease, developmental abnormalities, tumors, evidence of trauma and systemic diseases.<\/span><span
