Dentist, Clinical Director and Founder off A Cl\u00ednica Dr. Pedro Mota since 2005, he graduated in Dental Medicine, in 2004, at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto.<\/p>

Ribatejano de gema, Dr. Pedro Mota <\/a>was born in Abrantes, but as a child he went to Macau with his parents<\/span>, where he resided <\/span>until the age of 18<\/span>, when he went to study f<\/span>or Porto and gained autonomy.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Despite being a very demanding course,<\/span> he believes <\/span>that academic life brought him growth, sense of responsibility<\/span> and emotional maturity. After <\/span>graduation, he had the goal of continuing to study, but when he returned to Lisbon, he began looking for work and from then until <\/span>today<\/span>, never stopped.<\/span> I thought that I would have a more or less relaxed life in this area, but this has not happened. <\/span>There are, daily, many hours of work.<\/span> But<\/span> the recognition, accomplishment and gratitude from the patients, is worth every minute<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

He had the dream of working outside the country,<\/span> namely, Australia or Canada, countries<\/span> that he considers <\/span>safe, civilized <\/span>and organized. But the father changed his rounds<\/span>, when <\/span>he started looking f<\/span>or real estate<\/span> in the newspaper <\/span>and <\/span>found an advertisement <\/span>– <\/span>“only seen at magnifying glass<\/span>” (laughs<\/span>) – <\/span>of <\/span>a dental clinic in Vila <\/span>Franca de Xira,<\/span> the former Cl\u00ednica M\u00e9dica e Dent\u00e1ria Candeias, which was on sale. The business<\/span> came <\/span>to pass and until now <\/span>has been the girl of his<\/span> eyes<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

His<\/span> entrepreneurial side<\/span>,<\/span> transmitted by the father <\/span>and has gained experience in other clinics and hospitals, <\/span>did to <\/span>that <\/span>want to be in constant evolution. <\/span>A Cl\u00ednic<\/span>a Dr. Pedro Mota is <\/span>the <\/span>result <\/span>this ambition, because <\/span>their mission is <\/span>offer the best service <\/span>to the city and surroundings <\/span>and thus establish a relationship of trust with patients. <\/span>For this,<\/span>it is in constant training, which allows you to keep up with all the news and launches in the field of dental surgery. <\/span>feels fulfilled, because it has built and added value to the city. She specialized in Oral Surgery and Implantology, areas that are based on the ability to realize dreams, by transforming the lives of her patients, both for the functional addition to the smile, and for the aesthetics it provides. With total dedication and persistence in the goal, characteristics that he considers fundamental in the exercise of his profession, says that besides changing smiles, it has the power to restore quality of life to patients, offering them again the possibility to eat, chew and savor food, such as increased confidence and self-esteem. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the hundreds of cases she has had, she will not forget her first case, a patient who was traumatized because she saw the prosthesis jump from her mouth every time she sneezed, a situation that had already happened to her in two dinners.<\/span> Giving a new and confident smile to this patient, is something that will always be kept in your memory.<\/span><\/p>

He knows that there is still some resistance in regular visits to the dentist, due to the monetary factor and the fear factor. He often says to his patients:<\/span> \u201cIt\u2019s not the most expensive treatment, it\u2019s the one that\u2019s right for you. We don\u2019t sell treatment products. We have to find solutions.<\/span><\/i>” and there is always a solution for each case. As for the less frightened, a first consultation is held in which the patient and their expectations are heard, dedramatizing and informing about the treatments to be carried out, among them the possibility of conscious sedation, in which patients<\/span> remain awake, calm and cooperative. Outside the professional context, he is passionate about wine, adrenaline and travel. He does not travel as much as he would like, for lack of time<\/span>, but when he does so in simple contact with people and new places, he takes inspiration from the work. He loves swimming, since he was a child, because it is the only sport that works the whole body. And the sea <\/span>itself has a strong impact of disconnection <\/span>from the outside world.<\/span> A kind of retreat in the water.
