It was 2005...<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

… and a father had a mission: to help his son, who had just graduated, settle down.<\/strong> And if he wanted to, he did. Week after week, I searched the real estate book of the newspaper, which I usually bought, in search of an answer. And since we only found what we were looking for, there he was waiting for you: a timid announcement, lost among giants, complaining about clemency. And it was heard, or in this case, seen! It was the announcement of a dental clinic in Vila Franca de Xira – the former Cl\u00ednica Candeias, founded in 1996, located in the upper part of the city -, which needed a new owner. Anticipating that the son could go to work outside of Portugal, the father anticipated inviting him for a visit to the space. Surprised, the son agreed not to do the defacement, but was not aware that this was his goal – to become owner of a clinic in Vila Franca de Xira, even if it was near the big capital. But the father threw the final card, assuring that the later one enters the labor market, with a space of their own, the more difficult becomes the path of someone, and… <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Within two months, his son, Dr. Pedro Mota<\/a>, was running an office – as he himself prefers to call it – with the feeling of having been thrown into the wolves. But it was too late to turn back and she helped him, as is true today, the dental assistant who, when invited to stay in the clinic with the new owner, a “kid” just out of college – as described at the time – decided to accept, believing in the project. Manuela B\u00e9rtolo, as she is called, became early on the right arm of the boss, and not only that, but also the left leg, hands, belief, determination, indispensable help for those who start from scratch. And the clinic grew, showing what was coming. There was even a time when the walls were painted in bright colors, because according to some <\/span>experts <\/span><\/i>in the field, the colors conveyed positive feelings to patients. Until, 8 years ago, he dared to transform the “office” <\/strong>into a real clinic, which could be a reference in Vila Franca de Xira.<\/strong>
And so it happened.<\/span> <\/p>

Extensive work was done, modern structures, new equipment, new technology, the medical team grew, several departments were created<\/strong>. This caused the trust placed in the clinic to grow exponentially, bringing more and more patients, and inevitably becoming small. It was urgent to look for a new space, a larger space. But that\u2019s when the pandemic comes, and…<\/span>
Still, it does not give up and the investment is made in the current clinic, located in the heart of the city.<\/span>

A trained clinic with <\/strong>4 offices, specialized rooms for technical support, support rooms for laboratories and surgeries, specific computer and communication offices, radiology rooms and 3D and 4D technology, specialized machines.<\/strong> We work by specialties, with a doctor for each area, is the only clinic with pediatric dentistry and until recently, the only one that had an oral hygienist. In short, it has all the existing technology on the market, at the service of the community, making any travel to Lisbon unnecessary. <\/span><\/p>

The Dr. Pedro Mota Clinic is proud to have added value to the city, having with it about 10 direct employees and about 10 doctors, thus generating employment for families<\/strong>, and is pleased to have always followed the principles that guide it: clarity, honesty and empathy. Even, because, as Dr. Pedro Mota says: “The most expensive treatment is not the one that is the most appropriate, we do not sell treatment plans, we have to find solutions for people, evaluating case by case. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

There would be a “The End” here, but it does not apply to this story. Because rumors of new adventures are already surfacing, so we finish… <\/span> <\/span><\/p>
