DÜRR DENTAL
Do you know what it’s like to walk with your head on the wheel? So forget it, and get it out of your mind! Because here what spins is the machine… around your head! Kept your thoughts on a living wheel? No problem, we’ll explain later…
Panoramic X-ray, also known as Orthopantomography or Panoramic Radiography, is an extraoral radiological examination that shows all the bones of the mouth and its joints, in addition to all the teeth, even those that have not yet been born. It allows for the precise detection of problems that cannot be identified in a common examination, such as some pathologies in the roots of teeth, cavities, unborn siso teeth, abscesses and tumors. This examination is mainly indicated by the dentist before placing dental appliance, as it helps to visualize the entire dental arch and the position of the teeth.
A special x-ray machine is used which rotates around the patient’s head to obtain a detailed and wide view of the mouth. The machine spins, the head rests!
